Featuring IEC 60228 Class 5 multi-stranded bare or tinned copper conductors and special heat-resistant PVC (Type TI3) insulation colour-coded to VDE 0293, the cable is certified to CE, VDE and RoHS (UL/CSA-compatible versions available from some manufacturers), with a rated voltage of 300/500V (450/750V for H07V2-K).

Q: Unsuitable applications?

A: H05V2-K must not be used for 380V line-to-line circuits (use H07V2-K 450/750V instead), frequent dynamic flexing, unprotected outdoor burial, direct contact with heat sources above 85℃, oily/corrosive atmospheres, phase-separated runs in metal conduit/tray, or as overhead/supporting lines, since without torsion-resistant sheath, waterproofing, UV, oil-chemical or tensile protection it risks core breakage, insulation cracking, eddy-current overheating and premature aging.

Q: What is the service life of PVC insulated flexible wire?

A: There is no unified national standard for service life. Under rated temperature (≤90℃), no mechanical stress and dry environment, the typical design life is 15-20 years. The actual service life is significantly affected by the cumulative temperature effect (Arrhenius model), bending cycles and environmental chemical corrosion.

Q: What is the minimum bending radius for PVC insulated flexible wire?

A: Fixed installation: 10 × outer diameter; Mobile installation: 15 × outer diameter (some manufacturers mark 12×, conservative design at 15× is recommended)
