Electrical Performance
The quality of electrical performance is the primary principle for evaluating cable accessories. This mainly considers the rationality of the electric field distribution, the appropriateness of measures to improve the electric field distribution, the electrical strength of the materials, dielectric loss, and the insulation margin of the product.
Sealing Performance
Sealing and moisture-proof performance directly affects the electrical performance and service life of cable accessories. It is crucial to assess the reliability and stability of the terminal's sealing structure. Generally, intermediate joints should also have a matching metal moisture-proof shell, especially for direct burial or use in humid environments.
Mechanical Performance
Terminals should have sufficient bending and shock resistance. Intermediate joints should be able to withstand certain tensile forces and have measures to prevent external damage.
Manufacturing Performance
Manufacturing performance is an important factor in the design and selection of cable accessories. The installation process should be as simple as possible, facilitating on-site construction, with a short construction period; it should have low requirements for the site environment and the skill level of workers; installation quality should be easy to control and reliable.
Manufacturer's Quality Assurance System
When prefabricated cable accessories leave the factory, the manufacturer provides components such as rubber prefabricated parts, prefabricated stress cones, porcelain bushings, outer shells, and impregnating agents. These are then assembled into a complete terminal or connector during on-site installation. Therefore, the manufacturing quality of each component and the quality of the installation process are directly related to the final quality of the product.
